Celebrate and remember the significance of the Messiah's birth this Christmas with our Nativity Matching Game. This 28-card set features a symbol on each card to represent an event that occurred leading up to or during the Nativity (the occasion of Christ's birth) as well as an explanation of how those events affect us as believers today.
Every part of the Nativity story teaches us something about how God wants us to live today.
Manger: God promises that He will lift us up and give us grace when we practice living a humble life like Jesus.
Wise Men: When we are faithful in the little things, we will see God be faithful in all things, even the impossible.
Star of Bethlehem: When we invite Jesus to rule in our hearts, the brightness of His light shines through us and points everyone around us to Him.
Joseph and Mary: God can use an ordinary person who is willing to accomplish great things for His Kingdom.
Candle: The light of our faith should encourage others to put their hope in Christ, to live lives of holiness, and focus on the good things God has provided for them.
Gold: Whether in worship, in holy living, or sharing the love of God with others, Jesus wants our best and brightest offerings.
Frankincense: Our true and genuine faith should be like a sweet fragrance to both believers and unbelievers alike.
Myrrh: We rejoice that no grave could hold our Savior and because of His sacrifice, death has no power over us.
Bethlehem: Christ is our true home, on this earth and in the world to come.
Matthew 2:10: When our hearts long for something that we've yet to see, we can be sure that God always keeps His promises.
Stable: We must prepare room in our hearts to receive Jesus and give Him a permanent place as ruler of our lives.
Shepherd: Jesus is our Shepherd, defending us from harm and gently guiding us through life until we safely reach our true home with God.
Angel: We too can act as messengers of the Good News by sharing the gospel with everyone we meet.
